Made More of a Puddle Instead of a Wave

David Hasselhoff is best known for his appearances in the television shows ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Knight Rider’. At one time David Hasselhoff was one of the most watched television stars in the world thanks to his appearances in ‘Baywatch’.

This autobiography follows his life and career from his role in ‘Peter Pan’ as a child right up to his appearances on the television talent show ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Following his ups and downs, Hasselhoff is honest about his life yet something about the writing just doesn’t grip the reader as much as it should. With someone who has such an exciting life as Hasselhoff, the book of his life should be a book that you just can’t put down yet this sadly isn’t the case here.

However one of the things I did like were the behind the scenes insights to what life was like on the sets of his television shows and movies. I’m really in to that kind of thing and that’s one of the things that really brings the book to life.

While fascinating in places, there are some parts just fill like they were written by someone who really didn’t want to write at all and it shows. I’m a massive fan of Hasselhoff yet I found myself a little disappointed with this book.

Really only buy if you are absolutely obsessed with David Hasselhoff as you may find yourself a little put off by his in your face style personality. Personally, I found it to be a good book just slightly disappointing.
