The Infinite Issue 3 from Robert Kirkman and Rob Liefeld, published by Image Comics

Something is wrong.  Bowen has traveled to the present to attack The Infinite at a time when no one is even aware of their steps toward world domination. But something is not right, they're too organized, too prepared... How could he have underestimated them so much?

Infinite Enjoyment

The Infinite Issue 3 opens with one of Liefeld's trademark shoulderpad wearing, sword wielding warriors going to town on some anonymous bad guys, in a sequence that brings to mind early X-Force comics. 90's nostalgia continues!

Kirkman and Liefeld have presented a high concept series that has enough secrets and intrigue to keep me reading. With time travel a central plot device, The Infinite has almost unlimited potential. Mysterious warriors, secret missions and plot twists aplenty keep you on your toes. It's really quite hard to see exactly where they're going with this, a feeling you don't often get in modern comics.

The same problems continue here though, with some clunky expositional dialogue and Liefeld's usual artistic faults, however these are much improved compared to the last couple of issues.

Dynamic, Exciting and Fun, this a series that I'm going to continue to keep a keen eye on.
