I am a massive Tim Minchin fan and was lucky enough to catch this tour live so I waited for bated breath for the release. Unlike Peter Kay's one, this one didn't disappoint.
I'll get the one flaw out of the way first. For whatever reason, the crowd doesn't seem as alive as when I went to see him.
Other than that, this is near perfect as a release.
The classics are all there, even my personal favorite 'Rock and Roll Nerd' was there. They all sound absolutely amazing with an orchestra.
The interplay between songs is up to his normal brilliantly high standard.
They could have a little more with the extras but that doesn't take away from the overall release.
Whatever you do, get this release!
