He's the Heartbreak Kid, the Showstopper and much more!

For more than two decades, Shawn Michaels has had amazing matches in the ring and controversial moments out of it.  Now, for the first time on DVD, fans can see the whole story, from the Rockers through D-Generation X and the Clique along with the infamous Montreal Screwjob.

This 3 disc DVD set collects some of his greatest matches including many that have been released on to DVD here for the very first time.

A Great Set For A Legendary Wrestling Star

Shawn Michaels has always cut a controversial figure in the wrestling world. Firstly due to his now past addiction to drugs via the now infamous Montreal Screwjob.

Amidst all of that, he has carved an absolutely legendary career, having some of the best matches the world of wrestling has seen. A high flying risk taker before high flying moves were the norm, he both delighted and thrilled the crowds.

The documentary section of this release holds no subject back. They reveal all his problems, all the mistakes he made while at the same time showing the progress of his career and his eventual spiritual redemption. While I myself am not a religious man, the fact that Michaels managed to turn his life around and create a legacy such as this is triumph.

The matches here are a fantastic selection. Starting at one of his debut matches right up to his comeback from a career threatening back injury and up to some of his most recent matches. There is truly something here for everybody to enjoy. While it is true that the earlier matches do suffer picture wise, that's just due to their age. The recent ones are absolutely crystal clear, hence the high mark.

The special features while interesting, aren't exactly ones that you can come back to time after time like other releases. That said, when you have matches so exciting and entertaining and a documentary that is so earnest in it's approach, the special features don't really matter that much.

I would highly recommend this pretty much any wrestling fan, regardless of their feelings about Michaels himself. Fantastic!
