Not As Good As Volume 1 But Still entertaining.

The first volume of episodes was a great release and had a lot of exciting stories as well as a list of characters that read pretty much as a who's who of Spider-Man's rogues gallery.

This volume, while still entertaining, went the complete opposite direction.

Hardly any of the rogues characters make any appearances here. You have Rhino, Mysterio and Electro popping up here and there but all the other stories suffered from the same problem. The main villain would be nearly instantly forgettable.

The picture quality is the same high quality as the first volume and it's the same with the sound. The stories really do come to life because of the clarity of the transfer.

It's a real shame that the stories were poorer this time because it would have been great for the momentum to have carried on. All super hero shows from the 60's and 70's seemed to suffer from the same thing. The main villains that the superhero would be known for would only make 1 or 2 appearances but then you would have cookie cutter bad guys instead.

I'd still recommend this volume however due to the simple fact that even though a lot of the more known characters are missing, the stories that work are still very entertaining.
