PREDATORS TO BE DIRECTED BY MARSHALL?
Rumour has it that Descent director Neil Marshall has been approached to direct the third of the Predator movies. Until recently Robert Rodrigeuz was attached to direct, but it appears that he may well just be producing the picture through his ‘Troubleshooter Pictures’ company.

Abrams discusses Mission Impossible 4
JJ Abrams, director of Mission Impossible 3 and the recent box office hit Star Trek, has recently started talking about a fourth in the Tom Cruise starring franchise. He has revealed that he is not directing this time, but is on hand as producer and that he and Cruise have ‘come up with a really cool idea’.

Bond 23 Writers Revealed
MGM and Eon Productions have announced the writing team for the as yet untitled 23rd James Bond movie. Returning will be Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, with the notable absence of Paul Haggis. Instead, filling his shoes this time round is Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan. No other details are as yet announced.

John Carter Of Mars
Walt Disney have announced details for the sci-fi adaptation. Andrew Stanton has been revealed as director, with Taylor Kitsch (Gambit in X-Men Origins- Wolverine) announced in the titular role. Lynn Collins is set to appear as the Princess of Mars.
