Bones Season 4
David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel return for Season 4 of hit US TV series ‘Bones’. Inspired by the real life exploits of forensic anthropologist and author Kathy Reichs, Bones follows the adventures of Dr. Temperance Brennan and FBI agent Seeley Booth as they investigate various intriguing and bizarre homicides.
Bones is another in the long list of forensic and science based TV series that have been hitting the screens over the last decade, including others such as the CSI series, House and Lie To Me. Bones is quite as high profile as many of the other series, but this is undeserving. It’s a highly entertaining and thrilling series that deserves a much greater following than it has.
David Boreanaz brings a nice tongue in cheek charm to his role as Agent Booth, whilst the decidedly awkward social characteristics of Dr. Brennan are captured beautifully by Emily Deschanel. With a will-they-won’t-they chemistry between the two characters, they are a delight to watch.
The plots are always thrilling, edge of your seat and interesting. Unique and sometimes just plain bizarre, it’s impossible to predict exactly how the episodes will play out.
With a collection of off-the-wall supporting characters and brilliant cameos, including the always watchable Stephen Fry, Bones is always entertaining viewing and never disappoints. And the series finale is beyond brilliant. If you’ve not caught Bones yet, do so now!
